We're possibly going to have matching tartan bustle gowns!!! that's what I have been eyeing that tartan for! I have had a picture in my inspirations folder for about 2 years of a tartan day gown that I've been waiting for the perfect fabric for (which the tartan taffeta is). Since Victorian is what I reenact, and we usually have a yearly formal dinner, I was thinking about making a ball bodice for it as well... :)... Obviously we have good taste!

haha too funny! It will be interesting to see how they both turn out, coz I can bet they'll be totally different :D I Love seeing what people do with the same fabric! Though I just don't see this working for a ballgown for myself, so I think I'll stick with just a daygown, perhaps a polonaise?

You'll have to join our 'Tartan Taffeta' club :P Wendy also bought the same fabric for her Mrs Miggins dress :P
