During my last few missions, I was exposed to an extremely dangerous radioactive substance known as Phazon. The Space Pirates were experimenting with it, both as a potential energy source, and for its mutagenic effects on living cells. After I warned them not to. It's probably going to save my life, but I wish someone up there would listen, just for once. My gut is telling me it's going to be the metroids all over again.

Yeah, a cancer that produces energy which can be used in weaponry. Seems that all our best scientific advancements are used solely for the purpose of hurting others. It's ... it's really sad.
