i would say that 30 miles to the gallon is not sexy when it cmes to bike fuel economy... and me on a giant bike??

Eh, they make them your size. ;) My friend, Kacy, rode and she's 5' 2", and tiny. My dad's Vulcan kinda awesome, and gets about 45 mpg. (Considering it's a larger end of the spectrum bike, given that dad's not a small mammal by any stretch, isn't too bad.)

Funny, cuz when she said 'big bikes' I was thinking of some of the Adventure tourers by BMW, or Yamaha, or KTM. Some of them get down in the 40s, too. But they have monster tanks to extend that range.
