Don't go to the doctor.timmy_popJune 17 2005, 12:20:42 UTC
The solution is not drugs. You don't need to freak out your liver and bladder and everything else that help you tick just to fall asleep. THE ANSWER TO EVERY QUESTION IS NOT DRUGS. ITS NOT THERAPY. If you can't sleep mabye you need to figure some things out.
I have the exact same problem you do. All the time I just sit in bed wondering about todays events, tommorrows occurances, and next years hopes and dreams. Its not weird. It's absolutely normal to want to think. You want drugs that stop you from thinking?
Doctors aren't so bad in my opinionarsonistdeanneJune 18 2005, 01:27:03 UTC
I'm on medication, and I see the other spectrum. The medication can sometimes cloud my judgement, however it does help me sleep. It puts me to sleep within the hour, and I don't wake up exhausted, I don't go to sleep freaking out over thoughts and my heart and mind racing. I don't wake up groggy, I wake up... awake for a change. I have been going to therapy, because I'm bi-polar (recently diagnosed) and I find that therapy can help. I tried thinking things out, and writing things out, and sometimes... you just need to TRY an alternative to see what comes out of that... I STILL THINK, I just... don't lose sleep over my thoughts.
batman IS alright as rain...have you seen harvey birdman though? see it...he's awesome, he's my anti-drug...see you on the 17th tim, if not sooner... tess
