Who: Everyone attending the Hiroshima trip
What: The long awaited trip to Hiroshima~ And it all starts with a bus
Where: Campus
When: Friday, December 11th
Warnings: ...University kids on a road trip. You have been warned.
Ask a poet to describe the dawn and they could give you every single detail imaginable, using every single simile, metaphor, and imagery that has ever been written. And probably a few that had not. Propose the same question to a university student, and you would receive a mix of responses. Most prominently, would be a blank stare and a hard glare. Because it is the truth of all cultures that the average student attending a college university is most assuredly more familiar with the night.
And sleeping their way through the morning.
So on the day of the Hiroshima trip, it was expected that fifteen minutes before they were set to board in the wee hours of the morning, there was hardly a soul in sight. Nothing but the silent gleam of the sunlight on the glass windows of the bus and the quiet hum of the bus driver for blocks and blocks.
The weather was brisk but manageable. The atmosphere calm, but holding every potential for chaos. Whether by choice or sheer happenstance, it was clear that this promised to be a trip to remember by all in attendance.
