This trip was a good idea. It was always cool to get away from home for awhile. Even better when it's on a private island your best friends dad owns and with your new girlfriend. Yeah, it was definitely a good time to be me. Not even Caleb being here was enough to bring me down. Which, weird that after everything happened he starts dating Lexi. He kept looking at me on the flight, but I ignored him and I'd managed to avoid him during the whole trip too. I didn't really want to talk to the guy. Well, maybe part of me did, just to get some answers. But mostly not

Sitting up slightly at the sound of Jude's voice, I wiped a few tears from my cheek before sitting up all the way beside him

I frowned, watching her. She wiped her eyes and it was pretty much a given that she'd been crying. She started explaining that she'd had a bad day and wanted to hide from the world. Even though Lacey was saying she'd be fine, I had a feeling she was just telling me that. There was something going on with her, but I couldn't figure it out

Ugh, sure enough as soon as he mentioned, I got the song "Bad Day" stuck in my head. Even if I never heard that song ever again, I'd still remember it word for word probably for the rest of my life. I'd smack him for that if I wasn't so comfy already
