gogogo! really, you won't get lost cuz many of the signs are also in english and many japanese are willing to help if they aren't in a rush.

huge barrier T_T but they understand some eng so it's okay.
lol i survived with only simple words like sumimasen, gomenasai, arigatou & eigo!eigo! *flailz arms* andand 'nihongo wakarimasen' LOL

So yeah you should be able to survive 8DD

T_T the only bookshop i went to was on the first day @ nagoya kanayama. & it only sold mags and those japanses mangas + novels.
