poetry!
Some poems that I found while at Border's... they are from The Haiku Anthology, edited by Cor Van Den Heuvel. Various poets.
distant thunder
the dog's toenails click
against the linoleum.
letting
the dog out--
the stars out.
morning quiet
snow sticking to this side
of the telephone poles.
the haiku
completely gone
by the time I've dried my hands.
And for good measure, I wrote one:
crackling
tickles my ear
your rich, brown voice.
