I was working at the Y last night when the first large downpour hit. My windows were also open and I was parked a million miles away. I had to make a run for it. My car also had it's own little puddles, but they were in the compartments on the doors next to the base of the seats where I keep all of my CDs. :)
After recovering from that and arriving safely home from the Y, I stood on my porch while the storm lit up the sky. I didn't even get to 1 between thunder and lightning. It was right over me and it was beautifully frightening.
