Game Guidelines:

• Upon your arrival you are given a bag containing the following:
o Flashlight
o Compass
o Map of the island
o Food and water for one day
o A small PDA with text, voice and video capabilities
o 1 random weapon

Collars:
• There is a metal collar around your neck which you must wear at all times. This is used to track where you are as well as to monitor your vital regions signs. If you attempt to remove the collar or tamper with it in any way then it will explode.

• The rules of this new game are as follows:
o Only one nation will be left standing at the end
o At least one nation must die every twenty four hour period from the time the game begins, unless otherwise stated by the Game Manager. You will be notified when one day ends and the next begins.
o If one nation does not die every twenty four hour period everyone’s collars will activate except for one randomly chosen nation who will then be declared the winner.

Danger Zones:
o Every twelve hours five new Danger Zones will be announced, nullifying the previous Danger Zones. Twenty minutes after the new Danger Zones are announced staying in a Danger Zone for more than thirty seconds will cause your collar to explode.
o Section A-6 is always a Danger Zone, starting ten minutes after The Orientation.

Here is the map of the island that all participants have been provided with. Please use the grid squares as a basic reference to your location.

FAQs - Frequently Asked Questions

How can a nation die?  They are nations.
• Since the players are Nations, none of the ‘deaths’ cause them to really die. Not in the strictest sense of the word. Character deaths are based on a non-canon (Alternate Universe-esque) theory created by the mods; that is, a nation can be killed, but as long as their people and territories remain in tact, after 'death' they simply wake up in the heart of their territories.  That is, if Germany were to be 'killed' his body would vanish off the island.  He would wake up in Berlin with something like a massive hangover after being unconscious for a few days.

Yes, yes that does mean that somebody is taking the nations from their homes after they are 'killed' the first time and sticking them back on that island.  Who, however, is something your nation is trying to figure out.

What happens when my character "dies"?
• Any Nation that dies over the course of the game is given a choice: they may either exit the game or continue it on their second ‘Life’ so to speak. If they choose to exit, then they will accept the exit conditions, go to their “Exit Interview” where they will be able to negotiate for the terms of their loss and they will then be transported to a special holding area where they may converse with their fellow Nations who have also lost the game. If they choose to continue then they are taken to a random location on the island with a new weapon and given another go.

Unfortunately for you the Game Maintainers only allow for one additional try. Once you die a second time you must take your Exit Interview and the consequences.

So what are the consequences for losing?
• Ah yes, the consequences. By entering this tournament you have agreed to the following consequences for losing:

1)The forfeiture of at least one of the following: one-half of their territory, one-half of all the revenue in all their banks, one-half of their citizens, or
2)personal servitude to the winning nation for a period of no less than 100 years.

The better you do, the fewer consequences you have! Oh, and you will have a chance to bargain for lesser consequences during your Exit Interview.

And what happens when somebody wins?
• After all the other Competitors have been eliminated, a Winner will be declared! This winner will receive all the forfeited territory, citizens and resources, along with any nations who agreed to the period of servitude.
