The israeli flag story is possibly the worst - I can't think of anything that does more to speak within nationalistic language (thereby strengthening it) and to further extremify an enemy. The fucking English never did any of this kind of shit to the Irish, during 800 years of colonial occupation and repression - that we've gone past that in only two years, in a country much more different from us than, for example, Ireland and England were from each other, really bothers me.
