Dog yipped as someone knocked on the door.

"Ow! It's open!" Martha called out. She crawled out from under the desk where she had been picking up a canister of paperclips she had dropped, and where she had bumped her head when someone knocked on the door. "It's open", she called again, brushing dust off her clothes and patting her hair.

Marian heard the call of pain but wasn't sure just what happened. At the knowledge the door was already open, she slowly opened it. She really didn't want to go through with this but for the sake of the baby she would have to. She had to have the help of someone who knew about this subject. Someone with medical knowledge.

"Are you alright?"

She hoped it wasn't anything seriously.

Martha smiled self-deprecatingly and touched the back of her head again. "Fine. Really I'm fine. I was picking up a spilled box of paperclips under the desk when you knocked."

Then Martha realized that Marian was in her office. Martha's smile disappeared and she instead turned on her professional mask. "And you? Is everything all right?"

"Sorry I hadn't intended on hurting you when I came here today," she replied with a small smile. Slight playfulness. Perhaps if she was nice, as she tended to be, then it would be easier for them to talk.

And it seemed they would have to talk sooner rather than later. Martha must had realised something had to be happening if she had arrived here.

"I realise you are the only person who can professionally talk to me about this."

She could talk to Robin about it for hours but it was better to speak to a doctor. She would need a doctor.
