A different sort of hunt
Who: Robin and OPEN
When: backdated to 16 Nov (takes place at the same time as Marian and Martha's thread)
Where: the main house
What: looking for baby gear
Without a midwife around (to their knowledge), Robin and Marian had agreed that she should meet with Martha, as the village physician. So, whilst she was doing that, Robin decided to begin looking for things they would need. He was uncertain whether or not there would be much to find, and was already pondering how they might make a lot of it without a member of the Scarlet family around to help. If he could find the tools, Robin knew he could put up a wall in the bedroom to make a nursery; he had helped with that sort of project many times over the years in Locksley and his other holdings. A cradle, on the other hand, was beyond his ability with wood. Clothes, if he could not find any, would have to be up to Marian, as his skill with a needle was nonexistent and she truly was good at it.
For all those reasons, he was hoping to do well in his search today.
Walking into the big house, Robin intended to begin his search in the room that was apparently intended for children to play in (although, he did not expect to really find anything suitable for an infant there), before combing through the basement for clothing.
