I've upped my amount of thesis reading to a-whole-hell-of-a-lot per day. While I read, I frequently listen to Philip Glass because A) I can listen to his music and still concentrate on reading, B) Philip Glass and Richard Serra (the guy I'm reading about) are friends and have made art together, and C) it gives me full-body chills. Well, you are listening to Mimalism, which kind of repeats itself. It shouldn't be too difficult to match that with the ceaseless beating of the bug's wing. . . what kind of bug is it?

You are the first I know to listen to Philip on a recreational basis. . . he's interesting. Try John Cage, though I don't recommend having it as background "music." It needs your full attention (or lack of). I totally <3 3'33". . . I am listening RIGHT NOW!!! (actually, no, I am listening to the Bedroom scene from Prokofiev's ballet Romeo and Juliet).

Any who, no I haven't been to Double Negative yet, and I don't know when. However for sure if you do come, I will go with you. I have direction online and from someone who's been there.

I am coming next week, hope your midterms aren't too bad.
