I have a cold. Sometimes when I have a cold it loosens up my thoat or something and makes my voice get deeper. Or maybe it just feels that way to me. Either way, its kind of nice; sometimes I feel like my normal voice is pretty annoying.

You should definitely take advantage of this situation by finding reason to say "This... is CNN." as often as is practicable.

Ha, thats a good one! I'll have to add that to my repertoire. I've just been singing along with songs that are usually too low for me.
