The Master knew that in order to keep a healthy working relationship going with his minions, he needed to indulge them every once in a while. With Lucy, it was often fairly easy to get her what she wanted-- especially when he was Prime Minister, Ruler of the World, etc etc. Judas was a bit more difficult, what with all of the pesky morals he tried to adhere to.
With Baby (as with Hyde), throwing her the occasional bone was just... well, fun. These were the rare moments when he could simply let loose and have a mostly uninhibited good time. And, to make things better, not only was this entertaining, but it strengthened loyalty as well. Win win.
And so, when he realised that it had been approximately a year since he and Baby had their very first shag, he decided it would be a fine opportunity to celebrate with a little bit of murder, mutilation, that sort of thing. That he targeted the woman who helped bring down his empire-- well, that was just a coincidence!
Said target was currently lying on Baby's bed, restrained to prevent escape. He was ready to silence her the moment it seemed she would be making any noise to alert others on the Barge.
The Master looked down at his captive. "Martha Jones," he tutted softly, stroking the unconscious woman's face just once with a gloved hand. "You're about to have a lesson in revenge." A wicked smile touched on his features. "Oh, we're going to have fun tonight."
