[ There are sounds of a bed creaking with movement, blankets being shfited and a grunt as she rolls off of the mattress and onto her feet. The blond reporter leans over her nightstand and notes the Dreamberry being on, rolls her eyes to it and just picks it up, shoving it into the pocket of her jeans, which in turn causes the camera feed to go

[A bit of confusion is clear in his voice as he continues] I do not know this Robin Hood. Are they another here?

[ She raises her brows at that one curiously. Someone who doesn't know the story of Robin Hood? Interesting. ] He's seen as a heroic outlaw in English folklore, actually. A man from the woods who's skilled with a sword and archery, known for taking it upon himself to create a band of men to join him in stealing from the rich and give to the poor. Just another sort of man who seems to be on a noble crusade, is all. A vigilante, if you will.

[For a moment Altair almost believes the tales could be of the Brotherhood, but quickly dismisses the thought. None speak well of his Order.]
The tale does have some similarities with my Brotherhood. Although I believe we have different methods.

Brotherhood? [ That's interesting sounding, isn't it? ] Well, methods don't have to be the same to get the same job done. I guess it all depends on what the methods are and how they're used for people to see the vigilante type as good, in the end.

I do not believe any in my world consider us 'good'. Even though we believe in the good of the many over the good of one.

A person who helps an old woman cross the street, for example, is seen as good.
A person who brings halt to someone trying to rob that old woman by turning their own gun onto the attacker is seen as someone who should have called the authorities rather than take it upon themselves to try and stop the criminals. Because it brings up the questions of:
Why did that person happen to be there right at the right moment?
Why did that person happen to have a gun on them for such a situation?
How do we know that person isn't just another criminal taking the highroad for a moment to hide their own crimes?
And so on, and so forth.
So nine times out of ten, even though the person is trying to help, the crowds and citizens around fail to see the assistance and just bring up more paranoid questions rather than offer a "hey, good job!" to whomever helped out.

It is only when they believe themselves to be in danger that they pay any attention to the state of things.
