[Ridley had been returned to his room several hours ago, annoyed that his condition had not been reversed. He remained there until late at night the next day, at which point he decided to simply head to the top deck. And throw himself overboard. He hadn't tried it when he first arrived, suspecting the shield to wrap around the entire ship. But it ( Read more... )

[Unfortunately, you will not make it up this next flight of stairs. Ganondorf seems to be blocking the path, as he's coming from the top deck. When he spots Ridley, he stops and sneers.]

So. You've been released, Beast.

[Ridley doesn't seem at all alarmed by this. He merely stops and folds his wings around him, saying nothing. His curse effectively makes him mute, as far as he's concerned. He merely watches Ganondorf, waiting to see what exactly he plans to do.]

[Ganondorf figures this won't take long. He has no intention of killing Ridley. Simply making a point and getting Zelda's armor back.]

There is something in your room that does not belong to you. If you return it to me now, then this will not be so bad for you.

[Ridley remains silent and unmoving, the only thing changing about him being the hot steam from his snout as he breathes and his eyes that remain fixed on him. He doesn't appear to be volunteering any information.]

['Moramee is, at this point, just making rounds about the ship for sheer lack of something better to do. When he sees a familiar form crumpled up on the ground, he snorts and moves toward Ridley.]

I told you escape would not be easy.

[Ridley has since fell unconscious at this point. He comes to as he hears the sound of someone approaching. For a moment, he almost wishes it was Ganondorf here to kill him off. But blearily he recognizes the shape. It was one of the creatures he met on his first day here. A familiar form. He speaks slowly, trying to make his words form correctly. They do not.]

[The Arbiter tilts his head at the garbled sentences, before recalling that Ridley's name had been called by the Captain only days before.]

The Captain's punishment has not been kind to you, has it?

[He snorts, already knowing the answer. Then he tilts his head and cranes his long, thick, serpentine neck down, gazing at the injured alien with an orange eye. Scrutinizing him. His next words are spoken carefully--if it were himself in this situation, the Sangheili knows he would be reluctant to receive aid.]

If it is aid you want, I am prepared to offer it. And I do not offer my help to just anyone.

[The captain has not been kind to him at all. Nor has the retribution for Ridley's rampage. He does not address the captain at all, for now. Instead considering the offer carefully. Ridley has not been on the ship long enough to know how things work here. As far as he's concerned, his handicap is a permanent one. One which he has no desire to live with. So he lifts his head and glances up at the alien, his eyes narrowing.]
