Bored to death...new passion arises...

...For some reason, over the past few days the thought of our troops has brought me to tears. I've always been pretty patriotic & have always loved supporting soliders, wars, etc because of the men and women who defend the streets I walk on each day. But these last few days...no clue why...I have thought so much about our soldiers. I actually cried

Ive definitely been feeling the exact same way lately. And I do think it has a lot to do with the fact that my best friend/big brother is on active duty right now and another best friend is on her way in the fall, but I think it's more than that too. We're growing up and having to face stuff that we haven't thought as much about in the past. Most everybody I know knows my position on certain presidents and this entire war going on, but it doesn't mean that we don't need to support the troops that are putting their lives out there so people that other people aren't forced into it. I have so much respect for you going tomorrow, and even if no one sees you, and you do go unrecognized... its the principle of the thing. Way to be Ash, way to be!
