Nov. 3, 2004 = sad day... as was Sept. 3, 2004, it's even worse now...

Just surfing tonight, can't sleep, put my brother's name in a search engine and saw your blog regarding "I'm Glad You Guys Are Happy, I'm Sure These Families Are" where you listed the names of those killed in Iraq. My brother Capt Alan Rowe is on that list. He was killed on Sept. 3, 2004, one month before his birthday, two months before the election.
Today (Oct. 3) is his birthday. He would have been 37.
Thank you so much for being aware and for speaking out. Please continue to do so. Education and awareness will overcome greed and ignorance... I HOPE!
He was much more than a statistic. Even if he was a conservative (we drove each other nuts!), he was still my baby brother, my mother's baby boy, and a daddy and husband.

It makes me really happy to know you got to read that blog. It's funny this blog was a long list of names and it says more than i could ever express verbally about my hatred for bush. I'm sorry that one mans ignorance has caused your family this much pain, one of my best friends is a marine and he is heading over for his second time. It scares me because the middle east is so out of control and we have no need to be there but that is another debate. I am not saying your brother died in vein with this blog. I appreciate everything he has done for his country and repsect him. My condolences go out to you and your family.
