i know that village voice thing was terrible! I only saw on their website and was like, i am reading villagevoice.com, right?
yet another horrible thing is how media and journalism just seem to feed off one another without having much (if any) independent investigation or opinion of their own.
The coverage of this story is probably one of the most terrifying about this whole thing.
i remember when the incident occurred and how much reponse and solidarity there was from the queer community. i am outraged and disappointed at the sentencing.
