today is a very sad day. The bombs in Spain were so powerful that they blew people out of passenger train windows. It's apalling and I feel sick just thinking about it. My heart goes out to every dead and wounded person in Madrid

The ETA has been terrorist bombers for a long time now. For all I know, they invented terrorist bombing. The Algerians, too, have been bombing France for ages, and the IRA has bombed the London Underground more times than I care to count.

Terrorism existed in Europe long before the current administration. I'm just saying, you know?

Some of the stories on the BBC's web site suggest that it might not have been an ETA act, although time will tell.

It's true. But this is the first time such an attack has had this kind magnitude. Plus there have usually been warnings but this time it's all about the spectacle. Terrorism has always been around but now it is sensationalized. And it's the new international high

now they're saying this might have something to do with al qaeda. whatever man, whatever. i seems like terrorism, killing people, has become so commonplace. it's very upsetting.
