things are starting to pick up on the creative side. My friend, Aron, is a director and he's been making a documentary about himself for the last three years. The scenes in his movie are actual pieces from his life and although many are embarrasing, they are sincere and quite extraordinary. My role in the project is Editor on camera and Assistant ( Read more... )

How are the gas prices out there? I heard that the average price for a gallon of the good stuff is running about $2.35. My blood is a volatile mixture of flammable liquid seething with contempt for those who do not share the values of our Smirking Chimp of the People. Now I lie in wait here in my dimunitive box, giddy from the euphoric intoxication brought upon the second day of the eleventh month of the forth year of His rule. Both you and I desire that we may initiate the drilling for oil in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge now that the disgusting liberals have been disemboweled by the true patriots of ivory. We shall no longer suffer from the Tyranny of the Gas Pump. Let the Crusade begin Laszlo and may fascism reign! Four more years!

Ohhh Justice will be served
And the battle will rage
This big dog will fight
When you rattle his cage
And you'll be sorry that you voted in
The U.S. of A.
'Cause we'll put a boot in your ass
It's the American way

Livejournal is a wonderful way for people to post interesting things to a user forum that close friends and specialized aquaintances can comment on. Anonymous, your identity is not foreign to me and I encourage you to create an lj account and to make comments that are relevant to the topic at hand.

My post is not political and I prefer that any comments made to it are thoughtful responses to the ideas I introuduce in it. The same goes for all posts I make in the future.

I think that your political comments are witty and insightful. As stated before, I encourage you to create a journal that reflects your interpretations of the state of our nation and leads us to ponder where we are headed in the next four years.

Bof. Laszo, the entitlement to speak anonymously is not only a privilege, but a right grounded in constitutional law. Writing for the majority of the Court, Justice Stevens wrote that “[u]nder our Constitution, anonymous pamphleteering is not a pernicious, fraudulent practice, but an honorable tradition of advocacy and of dissent. Anonymity is a shield from the tyranny of the majority. It thus exemplifies the purpose behind the Bill of Rights, and of the First Amendment in particular: to protect unpopular individuals from retaliation--and their ideas from suppression--at the hand of an intolerant society.
