It seems that the punk/ska movemement has lost touch with its roots in Democratic Party politics. When I last took note of the state of the "scene", about seven or eight years ago, it seemed that a certain species of evengelical Christianity had captured the end tail of the Third Wave. Indeed from the time since you and Adam "used to hold down the Punk/Ska [sic] scene in East Lansing, MI", the genre has since become nearly synonymous with nativism, laissez faire capitalism, "compassionate conservatism", and neoconservatism. Laszlo, as your politics have been known to mirror those of the late Johnny Ramone, I must ask this: are you going to join this illiberal lot?
