Oh my poor heart! Wonderfully well written and I could see the scene as freshly before my eyes as if it was on the tv. No wonder Buffy was all messed up, if this was going through her head. I loved the line 'caked with dirt and despair' and also '...lets him taste the anguish on her lips, the depression that coats her mouth' - wonderful stuff. *sniffle*
