Summer
I'm fortunate to be living in a part of the country with plenty of rural areas. Work has been busy, stressful at times, but the drives between customers have been a tonic to the soul. That sounds like there's been a lot going on. It's great to be able to get away, we haven't managed a proper break since early 2020.

If you can afford to retire, do it. If this last couple of years have taught us anything it's that life is short and you never know what is around the corner. We never regretted early retirement. Take advice to make sure but with a view to do it now rather than later.

Thanks. I’ll have to make the effort to sort out my finances this autumn so I have the full picture before making that decision. Life is indeed short.

Your travel adventures look appealing. I have no journeys planned for the immediate future. Thankfully, Sault Ste. Marie is a lovely place between late May and early October. We're now in high summer, and I'm enjoying it. I'll enjoy it even more when the online high school summer course I'm teaching finishes at the end of the month. :)
