• 2 armed security guards
• private assistant

Yesterday I saw Michael Palin in one of his old programs going over the Himalayas. He was watching a testing ceremony for villagers who wanted to join the Ghurkas.

a) there was no road to the village he visited so they had to walk several miles with whatever kit was necessary (probably employing locals to carry though).
b) One of the crew was kidnapped by the local communist rebels and only released days later!

Now *that* is a travel program.
