well like I said before, if it was for something different jobwise/paywise I wouldn't mind going into an office. but for this same job and the same BOSS BITCH I don't think I could have dealth with it, and it would have required alot of sacrifices. I don't have this huge desire to stay home forever--i actually am going nuts to get out of the house by the end of the week, it's just that it suits our needs the best right now as a family...hehe i'll spare you all the arrangements that would have had to of been made (childcare/vehicle stuff) we have just decided its best that i stay a teleworker and/or switch to a part time job and then go back to school, and start a "career' once the kids are starting school.
haha No I completely understand, I can only imagine how much of a pain in the booty it is to deal with daycare and whatnot (plus I'm sure that's not cheap at all). ESPECIALLY dealing with a bitch of a boss. That's one reason I never really considered going back in house, on my old adjustments team I did NOT like my manager at all and he would have driven me insane having to see him everyday. Then he left and we started having a new manager every 3 months so I didn't even want to think about it b/c what if the manager we ended up with sucked ass. Thank god I finally landed with a good, flexible chick who isn't a pain in the ass

yeah im glad your able to take a step in the direction of advancement, you deserve it, and I think it's the right thing for you to do since you worked hard and have your degree already.
Im just kind of going about it in the opposite way...
