Just a quick note to everyone who uses plastic a lot, watch your card. My credit card and debit card have been cloned recently so I've had to cancel them both. I can't think of any chance for whoever got them to have gotten both details but just be careful

Sure mate, no worries. Another week won't kill me :P

Hope you get everything sorted ASAP though. My grandmother wasn't so lucky when her card was swiped, and she lost £200 :(

Sorry to hear about that hun.

My debit card was also cloned a couple of weeks ago.

According to my bank they tried to use it in various stores and online, but it was declined, so that was lucky for me.

Oh, I'd just like to add..

These criminals can attach special chips too ATM's, so when you put your card in to take out money, the chip stores all the details of that card so they can clone it.

They also attach little cameras to the ATM's so they can get you typing in your PIN on video.

Much as I don't like to admit it, I'm reasonably well versed in how its donem, which makes how the fuckers did it to me even more annoying. I think they got it via the net, my pin seems safe and I've had all transactions from the last few days blocked regardless. Now I'm off to have an argument with River Island who will probably refuse to hand over the IP logs or the phonecall, whichever it was.
