I remember. Don't think I have forgotten about that entry! The title of that book has stuck with me and everytime I read it, my mind automatically jumps to you. I found out it was the same author who wrote Everything is Illuminated when I read the mini bio that it had it the latter book.

I started adoring Shia La Beuf or however it's spelled after watching that movie. Although not really, because I used to watch him on Even Stevens. ALSO, was I the only one who thought he was insanely hot in Disturbia? Not physically, though, but did you see how he kissed the girl whose name I can't for the life of me remember? The way his body moved? I wanted to jump him!

You finished Everything is Illuminated already! You're fast! I swear it took me weeks to finish that book, because I kept rereading each chapter to try and wrap my head around the absolute brilliance of it. It was like walking in the dark-- nothing makes much sense till your night vision kicks in. But once it does, my god, aren't the stars are beautiful? =D

I am, I have, I loved it! I usually eat the book in a few days, because when I get obsessed with one - with a book, I mean - I usually don't stop thinking about it, dreaming about, reading it, and that kind of things. I won't talk to people, won't call my friends, won't get online much, but read, read, read. Books don't really last with me. D:

However, I did find myself having to reread certain paragraphs and chapters, too! Which is so incredibly weird because I usually don't like rereading, but reading what's going to happen next, next, next, because the suspense kills me. But not in this case. The book was so weird and I loved it so, so much. It's just the first time I've read it, though, and I am sensing I will start to read it again soon, to appreciate its majesty even more.

Hey, I know it's off subject, as usual, but do have any reccommendations of any good Argentine rock music? I remember hearing this one song I really liked back in September when I first got here, but I can't really remember any of the lyrics, except tu sabes or sabes tu or something like that. I wasn't paying that hard of attention. I remember it was a group of guys, or maybe just a band with a singer or something. It's always on the radio, but I never think to listen, and I can't sing the melody, so basically alll my friends just look at me like I'm crazy when I ask them. So yeah, if you have anything good to reccommend, I would appreciate it...

Where are you staying now? Till when? I never heard of you anymore. :|

Anyway, most of the songs may have 'tu sabes' or 'sabes tu' because it's such a common phrase. Not even phrase, since it's two words, but. To be honest, I'm not such a big fan of Argentinean music and am not much into it, except for a few songs. There are lots and lots of bands, but the ones I like are Catupecu Machu, Soda Estereo, Babasonicos (I love this one, it has such a distinct style) and perhaps some others that I don't really remember. The most famous ones, the most well-known, are Patricio Rey y sus Redonditos de Ricota, La Renga, Sumo, Charly Garcia, and others, but I don't know them. Actually, I don't think they are the MOST well known, but they have the same style. I think.

I know I'm not really around anymore. I haven't posted in a while, and I guess it's just because I haven't been disciplined enough to actually update my journal or reply to anyone. Whenever I get on lj, usually I just read any updates real quick and then go talk to my family ( ... )

I haven't, no, but I'm planning on it. Have you read any other books from him?

Not really. I guess if you're into that stuff. The thing is, I don't like Nicholas Sparks at ALL. He's so cheesy and romantic and guh.

Ohhhhh. I've wanted to read Catcher in the Rye, but for some reason never did. I want to make sure that we aren't going to read it at school, because reading it early would totally spoil it.
