Yeah, she marries John Rolfe; she's actually sold to him, I think. And there was no love thing between her and John Smith. He was old and short and she was like twelve.
Classic Disney was animated by hand, so if you can find the information, it totally counts.
You just found out that Pocahontas was a real story? I learned that in History and TONS of kids got the question wrong of her husband because they thought she married John Smith.
But yeah - reality bites because then John Rolfe becomes this big Tobacco seller in Virginia. :(
Hmm, I sure that there has to be ONE artiest who thinks up of the design of Disney Princesses...
Designers Masayuki Ogisu (does work for Anna Sui & Vaporize) Dominic Wilcox (makes cociane table cloths and lampshades from guitar picks)
Painters Jesse Leroy Smith Lisa Milroy
And ... someone I can't remember the name of who was featured in issue 17 of POP magazine which is next to my bed so I'll look her up when I get home from work. YAR.
I totally prefer Disney's version of history. Did you know that in the original Little Mermaid, Ariel actually died because she didn't get to the Prince in time to stop his wedding?
MEHH I hate being late on entries which are emergency and NEED NOW kinna thing. So yeah, this might not be helpful anymore...but I'll say it anyway.
http://davidgilson.free.fr/ If Disney princesses count ^THAT guy is pretty good. He's not actually an official Disney person, but he draws them...and other stuff.
