The imagery in this piece is absolutely gorgeous. I feel this affinity to it, too, as almost any girl can who has ever been close to love or in love. The silly thing is, I can see myself so eloquently illustrated here:
with his obvious favouritism that made you toss in your bed late at night, a familiar smile on your lips, the satisfaction needed to go on through the next day.
Mmmm. I think what's most powerful about this piece is that there are more layers to it than what is captured in the first reading, and that's what poignant poetry is.
(I've been meaning to write some poetry. I just need some inspiration. Oh, and did I ever tell you that I saw the Fray beneath the stars a few days before my sixteenth birthday and they played a 2 hour set? So freaking amazing. You would have loved it.)
LHVGFREHGR THANK YOU. I was so ridiculously nervous about posting this. I also like your interpretation of it, because it's completely different to mine.
Please keep on writing. I was fascinated with your last entry on twilight__love; did you read my comment?
Don't ever be nervous about what you write, because your work is always beautiful and well thought out. Always.
Mm, I did. I'm so horrible at replying; I meant to, I swear. I honestly don't even know where that piece came from. I believe I was doing homework when these lines - There's this look he gets in his eyes when he knows she's watching. It makes him grin obnoxiously and do foolish things, but simultaneously destroys him. - popped into my head and I just wrote. I never ever know where the ending of my story is going to be, so it's just as much of a surprise for me as it is for the reader and I quite like it that way.
Lately, I've been skimming over my poetry pieces. You know, I have a piece published in an anthology of high school poetry. Ha. It was published two years ago. Hm. For some reason, I've been continuously drawn to these two pieces ( one, two) I wrote a while back. I really, really need some inspiration. I hope some comes soon. :)
And you keep writing. I always look forward to reading your work. It intrigues me and

I have read your latest entry and has it ever happened to you, that you want to comment about everything, absolutely everything, and then end up not commenting? Because that's what happened.
And yes I hope so as well. I also hope you email me your address please thanks? Because I found something that screamed SHARON SHARON when I picked it up yesterday.
