Why do you like Nikon better? I am so confused what to get I've held off buying a higher end camera for a year because I am scared of making an investment on something and finding out later I would have liked the features of something else better.

I think I am leaning towards the D60. I have some money coming into my account in the next day or so.. I need to buy the camera before I change my mind, again!!

I think they both do.. I want to have a lot of control over settings and I want to snap a picture and it to save immediately, allowing me to immediately take another picture.

I have no idea about cameras, lol...I have a cheapo and it drives me crazy.

Hands down, Nikon makes the best cameras. I'm sticking with Canon because I can't afford Nikon and Canon is what I'm familiar using.

If it's an SLR, go Cannon. Accessories are much cheaper, and there are more generic accessories to go with the Cannons. I've shot Cannons as long as I've shot pictures. Nikon's image quality IS better, but for the price it's not that much better, even in the point and shoots.

I have had both and I prefer Canon. When my camera had a malfunctioning view screen, they fixed it for FREE and they paid for shipping too. It cost me nothing. I had the camera for two years and no warranty that I knew of, so that is just great customer service.

I had a Nikon Cool Pix and it was very nice but I have enjoyed my Power Shots much more.
