Where the last chapter left off, Excel has been captured by Matsuya & Co, where she was well-fed and poorly-interrogated. The Excelinator broke into the base and started fuckin' shit up. Excel started to make her escape (as well as stealing everybody's mp3 players and such ♥), when she ran into her robot clone.
Excel is like, "U HO!!1"
Excelinator is all, "Confirmation: Excel herself," and then she turns to her and goes, "You have been captured. Let us escape together." Actually I think she says that it's her mission to escape with her, but again, my Japanese is pretty rudimentary.
Anyway, Excel is like, "BITCH I KEEL U >8E" and prepares herself for an epic battle, but the robot just tranqs her and tosses her over her shoulder. ESCORT MISSION.
Iwata is "bleeding" cheerfully after being torn apart by the Excelinator, and Kabapu uses SOME SERIOUSLY BADASS TECHNOLOGY (no really click that link) to transform him into his sentai form (which inexplicably possesses a lower half, unlike Iwata himself) and uses him to fight. Of course, robo-Excel wipes the floor with him, and Kabapu realizes - for the first time ever - that she is, in fact, Ropponmatsu I. GOOD GOING, OLD MAN. IT'S NOT LIKE MISAKI AND SHIOUJI DIDN'T FIGURE THAT OUT A LONG TIME AGO.
Miwa is watching, of course, and she offers some cryptic words... but they're vague as usual, probably wouldn't make sense even if I could translate them properly. My best guess is, "Before you know it, half an option shows up... how brazen~ and now it's breaking down, but that's a good thing~" I can't even tell if she's talking about Iwata or Excelinator. 8D;;
Excelinator beats the crap out of Iwata, as usual. Clearly, Kabapu should have invested in a Nintendo Power to go along with his gear. But then Excel leaps from the floor and kicks her in the head. She then proceeds to grab the robot by the collar and shout, "THERE'S ONLY ONE THING I WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU... AND THAT'S WHERE LORD IL PALAZZO IS! AND WHAT YOU'RE PLANNING TO DO WITH ACROSS! AND WHO YOU ARE!"
Sumiyoshi goes, That's not one thing... :/
Anyway, Excel is in the middle of yelling at Excelinator about birth and death and regret and such when the Excelinator shuts down. So Excel throws this - how much did she weigh again? I wanna say it's like 500 lbs but I'm not sure where I got that from anymore - HEAVY robot over her shoulder (complaining as she does so that it is heavy) and leaves... but not before turning around and yelling at Misaki, "OI! THANKS FOR THE FOOD!"
D'aww. NOTE TO SELF: POST-TERIHA EXCEL IS CAPABLE OF GRATITUDE.
Matsuya, Sumiyoshi, and Watanabe, of course, stood off to the side and idly watched the whole affair. I love how willfully useless they are.
The chapter ends with Excel tromping off with ROPPONEXCEL ON HER FREAKING SHOULDER, talking about Lord Il Palazzo. And I'm never totally sure about Miwa but I think she's saying, "How wonderful! It seems she can pick up First-chan."
LONG STORY SHORT, EXCEL SUDDENLY HAS SUPER-STRENGTH. Well, maybe not so suddenly! There was that time she karate-chopped her way out of Shiouji's reinforced van, and the way she used to fight with cyborg-Iwata, and she's always been able to easily pick up Hyatt, who's gotta weigh as much as she does... but jeez, she couldn't pick up freaking Ropponmatsu I last time.
IS THIS A SIGN THAT EXCEL IS FINALLY REALIZING HER PRINCESSY POTENTIAL!?!?!?!?!?!?
GIVE HER A FEW MORE VOLUMES AND I BET SHE'LL HAVE PSYCHIC POWERS.
