I've been training... through the snow, wind & cold /wet weather and managed to have a constant cough, but I'm still there; though behind schedule a little.. no, a lot! I'm up to 12k now and should have my 13 miler in by about Easter hopefully! I'll keep you posted and hopefully will be able to keep injuries at bay until November so that I can ( Read more... )

I admire your dedication. :) And I praise you on making a well thought-out decision about the job. :)

Hopefully when you get here in September the weather will be nice. These past few months have been freezing cold and wet.

That's great, no I hadn't seen it! I knew he was going up there to give a lecture, adjudicate their work and be interviewed, but not heard or seen anything... thanks for searching & posting! :0)

I have started running again too and am now on the degree pathway. 2 modules I have done = 60 credits so it would be daft not to finish it now. Great to hear your news too!

That's great! Don't give up on either! It's a great sense of personal achievement; whether it's fitness or education! I'm a believer in trying... don't always reach my goals but it's important to keep striving towards one's dreams...

I want to do a 10km run or two later this year. Hopefully I wont stop running again. I shall try not to let studies get in the way. But I dont have your stamina to do a marathon.
