Training Update

Last week for my long run I managed 18 miles but it was so hard!!  So this weekend I cut back to 13 miles and I completed it with some gas in the tank... it felt so good, I really enjoyed it!  I'm at a wedding this weekend so my long run will be postponed till the bank holiday monday.. You are my inspiration! My running is going backwards. Having to do very very short runs due to my achilles and an odd pulled calf muscle that only hurts after 20 minutes!

I had some achilles problems at the beginning of the year so I had my gait analysed in a running specialist shop and was recommended some supportive shoes; it took about a month after using them for my running pain to go completely but it's not returned yet... hopefully it won't ever! i can't make it to the 10k you're doing, as I'm running Cardiff half marathon; but will be doing the Cardiff Cancer research 10k at Cardiff in a few weeks...
Hope we meet up again sometime soon though!

lol!! just trying to stop the bones creaking... I'm slow; Paula Radcliffe could run 2 marathons by the time I'll finish!!
Do you do any running?
