Pray for baby Faith

Please keep baby Faith and her parents, Joel and Kimmy, in your prayers.  This is a family we know well and have had the privilege of serving throughout their pregnancy, ever since Faith was diagnosed with HLHS.  Faith was born by emergency c-section, Monday morning, and is stable. Her first surgery is on the 15th.

It just amazes me how PERFECT these babies look when they are born. But inside those tiny little chests they hold such a scary secret.

Oh, I know EXACTLY what you mean! I remember sitting in the NICU with Corbin, before his surgery, and being in awe of how his perfect little chest could have something so terribly wrong inside. He looked so perfect.
