It was brought to my attention that people don't hug each other enough. Hugs represent a symbol of affection and caring. I hug all my friends when I say hi and goodbye but is that really enough?

So before I go to bed - I am giving everyone out there a hug!!

This Saturday I am going to qualifying at Brickyard. I am not sure how I got talked into this but it is true. I never thought I would see the day when I would attend a NASCARish type of event but they always warn you never to say never.

At least they have funnel cakes and lemonade shake-ups!!

It is now official. After much contemplation and discussion, there will be 8 trees in the Haliburton household this year. I have already taken the entire week of Thanksgiving off to prepare for the holiday season. This past weekend I went to a cookout where for the first time ever I played a game called Washers. Quite simple actually, you throw large washers across the yard and try to get them to land in a can bolted to the center of a wooden box.
