Nana's grave is in a beautiful location and I'm so happy about that. I'm also happy about how she looked at the wake. Before she died she was so skinny and pale and her hair wasn't done and she just didn't look like herself. The funeral home people really made her look like she did when she was healthy. Nana died today. My Mom called me this morning to tell me but I haven't told anyone yet because I didn't feel like making a scene in front of people. Your life makes me hate mine.

I went to visit my Nana at the hospital today. She's dying of Alzheimer's and cancer. She was so thin and pale and helpless. She can't even speak anymore or eat on her own. Things are really good! I'm very happy at school and am having the time of my life right now. Next weekend I go home for a bit because it's Columbus Day weekend but then after that I hopefully won't be home again until Thanksgiving. I feel awful when I say that, but why leave if I love it here?
