Some pointless ranting, but nothing serious

I'm not a particularly normal, perfectly adapted individual. Like most people in fandom, I'm quite the introvert. I'm painfully aware of these so-called shortcomings (you could argue they are just personality traits, but as they are not exactly encouraged by our society and they make interaction especially difficult in most situations, I don't look ( Read more... )

I understand perfectly. The story sounds like one that would piss me off too.

*hugs*

That's all I'm asking for, someone to understand me from time to time. That's what I miss the most about LJ, to be honest.

I feel ya on this, especially as a fellow introvert with my own personality quirks. Because who wants to be FIXED by one's partner? Ew? Sometimes I'm good with unhealthy relationships in a fic. Not because I'm good with unhealthy relationships in general, but because they sometimes make really good stories when everybody is aware that this is not healthy, not a role-model for anyone and there's no glorifying around. The smut can be spectacular. But not the sap, because there can be no rainbows when the balance is completely off ( ... )

Yeah, there's something a bit scary about them, right? Especially when you consider that might be society's point of view on the matter.

Thanks for the understanding, I know it's not a conscious effort but I still appreciate it.
