:P
But really. I got an email from them updating me on the 'Altador Cup' and I was like, 'Hey, I remember you, Neopets. You used to be awesome until Viacom bought you. Then you really sucked. ' But I was bored, so I went on over to the site. Lo and behold, I managed to sign in. I looked around a bit. Cool!--I had some neopoints. But wait--why do all the neopets look stupid? Oh, they converted them. So now people can dress them up.
Okay. I guess that's kinda cool.
Then I want to the games, to see if any of my old favourite games were still up. They got rid of my favourite two, but there were still some decent ones. Some fun ones. I fooled around there a bit and then went to the boards. Look--an art chat! "Draw the neopet above you." Sounds fun.
Then I did some other stuff that I can't really remember.
...
That was four days ago.
Yeah, really. I didn't even know I was capable of such mindless obsession over something so... urgh. I know older people play it, and I know younger people play, and I know some people my age play it, but I didn't think I was one of those people.
I guess you learn new things about yourself every day.
So in short, I have lots of stuff to catch up on. Comments to write. Videos to absorb. Time to waste.
...tomorrow, though :P
In other, (vaguely Merlin-ish) news, I found out that Jack Whyte wrote a book called Uther. For those of you unfamiliar with him, he also wrote the Dream of Eagles series. It's his take on the Arthurian Legends. I haven't read all the books yet--still tracking them down--but I read two a while ago and quite enjoyed them. Uther is a standalone companion to the series, featuring none other than Uther Pendragon. Supposedly in this book he's a bit of a ruthless bastard xD
I picked it up from the library today :D Looks like a good read.
Okay so that book was kind of shitty. I remember him being a better author.
