I accidentally read your spoilers for the book. Whoops! I hope the show goes in a different direction just because I know that's a thing in Twilight.

Also, I'm glad you mentioned Damon's shitty haircut. I'm not feeling Alaric's hair anymore, either.

Even though there were a lot of surprises (Jeremy being sent away,Rebekah's double-daggering, etc.), this episode felt like a cog in a machine that's building up to something epic. So that's how I'm viewing it.

Jeremy was very much a "Dawn" for me until this season, so I'm a little sad to see him go just as soon as he started to get interesting. He also had the best hair out of all the dudes in the cast. *sniffle*

BTW, sorry I haven't read your fic yet. I have the attention span of a chipmunk, but I'll try to get to it tomorrow.

That's cool! Thanks for your input. I'm sorry for being so spoilery, but I just want to speak freely. I haven't read the books, but just Wikipedia and other online things.

I like how it used to be a running joke for Damon to make fun of Stefan's hair, but he hasn't had good hair in ages! So, I guess they stopped making fun of Stefan's hair.

Oh, and my fic went in a completely different direction with Stefan not being all cold to Elena.

And... I'm sorry for book spoilers. I haven't actually read the books, just Wikipedia and fandom ramblings.

I just wanted to point out that Tyler didn't TALK Jeremy into removing the vervain! He probably took it off his arm and then compelled him....

Even that makes more sense than what I was thinking :)

There were several things that confused me in this episode, but I think the more I think about them, the more they begin to work out :)
