Not only was it supposed to be a oneshot (which now has single chapters of over 8000 words), it was also supposed to be RenBya (now with extra KenShuu), supposed to be primarily plotless (now with an increasingly convoluted and bizarre plot), and supposed to be smutty (thus far it has not

I'm certainly not going to complain about the chapter length. In fact, I'm of the mind that for this fic, the longer the better! xD

Ohohoho! Rukia makes her debut! 8D I cannot wait for Renji's realization to set in that she's now Byakuya's adopted younger sister! Those are always classic moments. ^^ Oh and Ichigo's here too. Hmmm. Wonder what Rukia means about testifying...

Now, this is probably me reading too much into it, but seeing Grimmjow being accompanied by Ulquiorra made me smile. Widely. Even if it was just under Aizen's orders that Ulquiorra was with Grimmjow, I totally adored seeing the two of them together. They're my Arrancar OTP xDI do love how Renji rushed in to save Byakuya and their meeting outside Byakuya's office. Now that Renji's managed to get some sort of a date set up with Byakuya for the near future, I am really pleased! ^^ Oh and Yoruichi is much love with her amazing powers of insight and foresight. xDDD

xD I'm glad it wasn't too off putting. I think because I didn't have a huge amount of idea where I was going to go with it, it just snowballed a ridiculous amount.

Yup, enter Rukia and Ichigo. I just can't resist putting in more and more random characters to see what I can do with them. :p All will become clear directly in regards to the testifying thing.

Tehe, I thought some people might be pleased to see Ulqui and Grimm rocking on together. I'm not a big Arrancar fangirl as a general rule, but I'm glad you enjoyed their presence. There's going to be more of both of them later. :D

I love Yoruichi. I just enjoy the thought of Yoruichi in business-wear being badass. *pets her*

More Grimmjow and Ulquiorra? YAY! 8D

Oh and I didn't mention this (probably because of too much more important awesome - to me at least), but Aizen as a crime lord amuses me so! xDDDDD And it now remains to be seen whether Gin is a double agent or not... considering Yoriuchi's less-than-pleased tone when mentioning him to Renji.

Ohh it´s getting more and more interesting every chapter! The plot´s really fascinating, and do even have to say how HOT Renji and Byakuya were in that office?! Like, really really I-want-more-hot! And Renji was so cool saving Byakuya!
So, yeah, I really love this story so far and I´d love to read more as soon as possible!
And btw, somehow Yoruichi was the person who made me laugh the most this chapter... this woman certainly is awesome!

Thankyou! I'm glad you thought the office scene was hot - I agonised over it for so long when I was writing it. It drove me totally insane, I have never had that much trouble with a make-out scene before, I swear.

Activist!Shuuhei blows my mind. :p I'm trying to keep my rabid Shuuhei love under control and it's not really working.

(It's pre-slash, but I think there in that place where they're both essentially in love with the other, it's just outside factors are keeping them from actually acting on well-established feelings.)
