Sanzo's a bit of a bastard, isn't he ;-)? This was beautifully written and touched all the right buttons. I liked how you hid glimpses of hope underneath desperation.

He is, but I can't help loving him regardless. :p Thankyou, I'm glad I managed to convey the little bit of hope. It was little, but it was there. Underneatht he angst, the abuse, the dysfunctionality and so on and so forth. :p

I'm a 58 shipper, but I really like how you handled the angst here. The way you finished the fic, telling without telling what are the complex feelings between them is more than great.
