I know that I read in your summary that it's only a dream.
But somehow from the first sentence I forgot. Heh!

This is an exquisite rendering of the difficult pairing. Too much angst and they end up being callous and - in my opinion - out of character. Too much sweet and they end up even MORE out of character.

You, though, have danced the dance very well. You've walked the tightrope, kept that balance intact - between rough and tender, denial and surrender, gruffness and passion.

Kind of like canon, really. ;) And that's the best feedback I can give you.

Thank you for writing them with that electric chemistry, and keeping it intense, and keeping them human. It may be BDSM but, like Sanzo, I felt nothing but thrill.
