But, but...oh dear, here I go.

I disagree with ALL of these and I am white! At the very least, shouldn't this read "RICH neo-conservative Republican white privilege?" I certainly didn't vote for Bush last term, and I certainly don't think of Palin's future son-in-law as an All-American guy (douchebag teen that is waaay over his head), and I do not believe that being black in American is certainly a light burden (as you know personally, and I found by proxy dating Richard).

I really feel this isn't white privilege, persay (and I am SO not saying white privilege isn't real, or that it isn't America's reality, and I never, ever could because I am white. I will never know or understand the realities of daily life as a minority because I can't.), I feel that it is RICH WHITE PRIVILEGE, since most white people that I know are not neo-conservatists or rich, white Republicans.

White privilege is being able to convince white women who don't even agree with you on

i see what you are saying, but the article is moreso saying that Palin/McCain are able to be seen by many the way they have (in a positive light) because they are white, not that ALL white people like them, or think those things, or will vote for them. Basically, let's just say if Obama's 17 year old daughter were pregnant, it would be a completely different ball game.
