i'm not going to lie to you, friends who read this journal. i am obsessed with arrested development. it's probably the funniest tv comedy i've ever seen, and, unless the office steps it up a few notches, i probably won't ever like another show as much as i like this one. and it's tragic, really, that i love a show that got cancelled for lack of ( Read more... )

Dude, I am so glad you have finally seen the AD light. It was truely one of the best written shows I have ever seen. But you say that you're sad that its off the air? Just wait. Go back and rewatch the show. You'll pick up so many more jokes than you did before. There are a ton of pre-jokes that allude to stuff that wont happen for many many episodes. It really was one of the best shows ever. I've probably watched the entire series 3 or 4 times through and I still pick up on stuff and it still makes me die laughing every time.

Colin have you started watching this yet?

You remember how in the old days you would always hear, "The ___ show was filmed in front of a live studio audience." You never hear that anymore. And it makes me wanna cry.

are you joking? The best shows on TV now aren't filmed in front of an audience. Shows with audiences are just cop-outs now

I mean just on shows that have audience laughter in the background. Old shows used to be proud that it wasn't fake.
