History: Her history. She works at a confectionary shop in Ponyville, known for its ponies of course, called Sugarcube Corner, where she gains a love for sweets.
The Time Compression brings her to this new world, but instead of being placed at Balamb Garden, she is placed in Galbadia. The school there allows her to assimilate there after finding her throwing parties in front of the school for anyone she meets. It meant more structure for Pinkie Pie and less parties. The reduction wasn't much, unfortunately. Galbadia is also the place where she meets Applejack, who is her underclassman.
After finishing the required courses, Pinkie Pie is then sent to Balamb Garden for the SeeD exam, and miraculously passes.. No one really expected her to get through classes, let alone pass. Pinkie Pie gave all her credit to Gummy, her pet baby alligator with no teeth. After passing the exam, Pinkie Pie traveled all over in search of the perfect elements in throwing the best parties. Oh, and being on a top secret mission, since her specialization was covert ops. After returning, she takes up a teaching position as the new Home Economics instructor.
Abilities & Physical Abnormalities:
She is a talented singer and dancer, at least according to herself! She simply enjoys what she loves doing, not caring if anyone dislikes it much. Pinkie Pie has what others in Ponyville call 'Pinkie Sense', where different bodily reactions occur that help predict the immediate future. Sometimes a combination of nose twitches or shakes and the like will mean that, for example, a piano will fall from the sky. It will be one hundred percent accurate, no matter how farfetched it sounds. She is also very good at baking, often making cakes and other pastries. Her assistants tend to be more harm than good when it comes to baking, but Pinkie Pie tries her best to guide those poor, untalented souls.
Pinkie Pie loves dressing up, which is how she chose covert ops to specialize in. She's quite good at disguises. She is also known as a prankster. All her jokes are just harmless fun, however, but a laugh is a laugh! Her luck with finding things is uncanny. She doesn't actually look for anything. Pinkie Pie conveniently happens upon them by accident, or just randomly knowing where it is. No one knows how she does it, not even herself.
She doesn't question any of this. As long as it works, right?
Personality:
Pinkie Pie is just like the cutie mark she has on her back: bubbly, colorful, light, and when popped, can be loud. The loud part is her usual tone of voice, however, as she is very, very hyperactive and can become easily excited. Because of this, she also tends to become easily distracted, so it can be difficult to keep a conversation from straying when speaking with her. Going off on tangents is what she does best. She is not as dim as she acts, although she isn't acting. Pinkie Pie just tends to store away information that's important for later use, while focusing on the fun parts now. Her courses have taught her about focus, but for the most part, being sidetracked is part of who she is.
Her penchant for smiling stems from her rather gloomy upbringing on a rock farm with her sisters and parents. There was no talking, no laughter, no parties, no smiling. Nothing even resembling fun! After experiencing a sonic rainboom Rainbow Dash makes that cleared away the clouds and revealed a rainbow in the sky, the very first rainbow she has ever seen, Pinkie Pie becomes filled with joy and smiles for the first time in who knows how long. She then vows to spread joy and laughter to everyone she knows, because no one should be without either!
Although her life is now full of happiness, she can get quite depressed under certain circumstances, however rare they may be. As an example, believing her friends were keeping secrets and didn't want to come to her parties lead her to believe they no longer wanted to be her friend. Her sadness makes her very manic, as she begins to have imaginary friends out of inanimate objects. Pinkie Pie develops a sort of nervous tick as well. Perhaps her biggest fear would be losing her friends because they no longer want to be her friends. It would be like going back to that gloomy farm again! Life is meant for happiness, friendship, and joy! And lets not forget yummy food! She can shove a whole slice of cake into her mouth! With that said, her table manners tend to err on the side of ' GET IT IN MY MOUTH QUICK BECAUSE I WANT TO TASTE THE YUMMINESS!'. So can can be messy. Luckily, she knows how to use eating utensils, but even working with those can be sloppy.

How old are you? Seventeen...I think.
Do you have any history in combat? [Tilts her head to the side.] Combat? Well...[And off she goes.] There was this one time we had to make a dragon wake up and sleep somewhere else because it was making this HUGE black smoke that would block out the sun for one hundred YEARS! I mean, can you IMAGINE there being no sunlight?! We'd have no way of waking up! Everyone would sleep forever--
If so, have you ever killed? HEY!! I'm not done with my story! So then we had to climb this HUGE mountain along the way. It was so much fun! And then... [Just...take this as a 'no'.]
i) How do you feel when you get involved in some project that calls for immediate and rapid activity? What kind of activity?! As long as it's fun, I'm there!
ii) Do you organize and initiate leisure activities? Yes siree! I do birthday parties, too! When's yours?
iii) What role do you take when working in a group? I'd like to be Simon, and then change my name to Pinkie Pie! And then the first order of business would be 'Pinkie Pie says touch your nose with your foot!' [Giggles]
iv) How talkative are you around other people? I LOVE talking! One time, there was this eeeeeevil curse on my tongue and I couldnt talk for a whole day! I was like 'bleh bleh bleh!' and my friends were like 'huuuuuhhhh?!' and then I was like 'bleh blehbleh bleh bleeeeeeh!' but they still didn't understand that I was thirsty!
v) What three things would you want to have with you on a desert island? State your reasoning. I can't leave Gummy behind! I'd miss him too much! I'd take all my friends with me, but that would make it more than five! Uh oh! Can I make them into one group? It would be so BORING without them!
vi) Is it important to be liked by a wide range of people? You betcha! I know everyone back home!
vii) When the odds are against you, is it worth taking a chance? If you don't try, then how will you know if something doesn't work?
viii) Do you consider yourself to be an impulsive person? [Starts eating some cookies she stashed away in her pocket. This is a 'yes'.]
ix) Would you agree that planning things ahead takes the fun out of life? NO WAY! That's the total opposite! With so many birthdays coming up, there's lots to plan!
x) Do you like surprises? Surprises are the BEST EVER!
xi) Do you sometimes wonder if there is something wrong with you? [Tilts her head to the wide at an odd angle.] Why would I think that?
xii) Do you consider yourself to be smarter than your superiors, and disagree with their decisions? ...those are reeeaaaaally big words! So....no! [Maybe she understood the question, maybe she didn't.] But talking never hurt!
xiii) Lastly, how do you feel about cabbages? They are a healthy part of a person's diet! [Pauses and giggles] But they taste pretty awful!
