For imagery, this reminds me of parts of the movie What Dreams May Come. (If you haven't seen the movie, don't bother, or watch it on mute. It's really pretty, but full of unrelenting Robin Williams schmaltz, which wrecks it.) Your writing is incredibly vivid here, and I like it.
I kept trying and failing to put a narrative to this. I think that's what ultimately makes this piece a successful representation of dream.
I've tried to find the time to watch the movie(on mute as you proposed and maybe doubled w;t occasional fast forwards) and the thing is I still didn't find to do it, but I thought it was rude to not reply for so long.
So, consequently, I'll just say thank you for now and declare how awesome you are. Tons of writers must have told you, but you're the kind of reader and reviewer we can only dream of. XD
