I'd like to start by saying, I AM GOING CRAZY. There is this stupid ice cream truck that I've been able to hear for the last 20 minutes, and its playing that children's song "Brother Michael, Brother Michael..." over and over, and has been for the last 20 minutes. ga_fics will send you an email if your story is approved or not. It may take them a while so just be patient :) And that site is an excellent way to meet writers. Post your story and then read the others there. Be sure to comment. The more you comment, the more people you will meet and begin to form friendships with.

I did post it...I've just been waiting for it to be approved, unsure how to tell when it is - but you answered that question. Thanks for the advice on meeting other writers! I will be sure to do that.
